International teaser of “Viy”
A new international movie teaser of the motion picture “Viy” has been placed on the website of the RFG film company. This teaser has already been presented at the largest film markets: in Tokyo and at the American Film Market. According to the words of the creators of “Viy” this teaser is an intermediate link on the way to the entirely completed trailer, which will reflect to the full extent a painstaking work of Russian and foreign professionals: graphics, animators and designers. It is only after seeing this trailer that we will know at last, which of the Hollywood actors will be playing the part of Jonathan Green, a traveler and a cartographer, whose face we cannot see, just only his back. And the main point is how the evil spirit in Gogol’s literature - vampires and ogres headed by Viy - should look, if we take into consideration the possibilities of modern film industry.
